Crossbridge Community Church (C3) is looking for a Children’s Director for “Bridge Kids”, our ministry for children from birth through 5th grade.

 

Children’s Director Primary Purpose

We are looking for someone to step into this role with the goal of children and parents taking next steps with God. This will be done through enhancing our Sunday morning experience and developing an active Bridge Kids online campus and digital ministry. The successful candidate will be someone who recognizes where we are, where we need to go, and how to get there. Someone with strong insights and good judgment who is gifted at seeing the big picture and can identify and troubleshoot issues along the way.

 

Children’s Director Expectations

• Be a strong Christian that can lead by example and is willing to lead others into the faith.

• Shape and drive a thriving culture within Bridge Kids through caring relationships, interactive experiences, and engaging environments that all help to create a place where kids want to be every weekend and parents feel comfortable leaving them.

• Empower parents as the primary disciple makers of their children.

• Innovate and implement best practices to utilize technology, media, and discipleship.

• Value a team approach to ministry.

• Communicate effectively to an audience of children and/or adults in a variety of small or large group settings.

• Find ways to reach and integrate children and families from our sports outreach, C3 Sports.

• Ensure and maintain a safe and secure environment in Bridge Kids.

• Be comfortable being on camera and communicating through video

• Naturally exhibit an outgoing personality with a vision of building relationships with families and volunteers.

 

Children’s Director Responsibilities

• Select and implement children’s ministry curriculum.

• Enlist, equip, and empower a strong team of volunteers.

• Create and maintain a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate environment for kids and a prepared, organized environment for volunteers.

• Attend weekly church staff team meetings (Wednesday mornings).

• Plan and administer the Bridge Kids annual budget.

• Order and manage supplies and equipment.

 

Children’s Director Employment Details

• Education or Ministry experience preferred

• Schedule:  28 hours per week (24 hours during the weekdays and 4 hours on Sundays)

• Salary: $25,000

• Vacation time and sabbatical Sundays TBD
